The route pages tell you how to get somewhere. These tell you whether it is worth the day — what there is to see, what is ticketed, what the walk from the stop is like, and what shape of day the place deserves.

Lindos
A white village wrapped around the foot of a rock, a fortified acropolis on top of it and a bay on either side. It is the place on Rhodes that almost every visitor goes, and the one that punishes an unplanned arrival hardest.
Faliraki
The nearest full-scale resort to Rhodes Town and the easiest sand to reach without a car. Its reputation is built on one strip of it; the reason to stay on the bus a little longer is the run of small rocky coves immediately to the south.

A destination guide is only worth publishing once someone has worked out what is actually true about the place — what is ticketed, where the walk from the stop goes, what the climb is like.
